The play 'Clandestine' takes place in one/two rooms to accommodate both the eulogy being read at the late Adam’s funeral – and the post-funeral gathering of the attendees of which there are very few.

During the proceedings and between Emily and Robert it is apparent that both have a deep affection for one another and this is consummated during the post-funeral proceedings.

Emily has been drinking quite a bit and this becomes clear in her later behaviour when panic sets in regarding a missing item.
