For so many years, homelessness has been the worst, most inhumane blight on society. The country is full of churches, lying empty all week, all year.
Perhaps if these organised religions opened their bank accounts and church doors, moved out the little-used pews and installed beds and bedding for the many roofless people, we'd then have more of an idea of what christianity should be all about.
